1. Purpose:- A Dubai tourist visa is issued to individuals who wish to visit Dubai for short-term, non-employment purposes. This includes tourism, vacation, visiting friends or family, attending cultural or entertainment events, or short business-related visits (not involving paid work). It is ideal for travelers looking to explore Dubai’s attractions.
2. Duration of Stay:- Dubai tourist visas are typically available for 30 days or 60 days. Both these types can be issued as either single-entry or multiple-entry visas. In special cases, a 90-day visa may also be issued. The visa can be extended for 30 days twice, allowing a maximum stay of up to 120 days (with extensions), depending on your eligibility and visa type.
3. Validity:- a Dubai tourist visa is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance. You must enter Dubai within this period. After entry, your visa duration (30 or 60 days) starts counting from the date of arrival in Dubai.
4. Single Entry vs. Multiple Entry:-
· A Single Entry Visa allows the traveler to enter Dubai once. If they leave before the visa expires, re-entry is not allowed on the same visa.
· A Multiple Entry Visa allows multiple entries and exits within the visa validity period. This is suitable for tourists planning to visit neighboring countries (like Oman or Qatar) and return to Dubai during their stay.
